FAA
National Wildlife Strike Database Query Select
(Summary of Strikes by Species and State)
Instructions:
  1. Choose 1 of the selections from each of Species and State. If a specific time interval is desired, select the appropriate From and To Month and Year. If no dates are entered, the time interval is construed to be from the earliest date to the latest date contained in the database.
  2. In the event dates are selected, the "From" Month is considered to be the first day of the month. Equivalently, the "To" Month is considered to be the last day of the month. For example, Jan 1990 to Mar 1992 will be construed as Jan 1, 1990 thru Mar 31, 1992. Leap years are automatically accommodated.
  3. If a Species is not included in the pulldown list, there were no reported strikes for that species.
  4. Please be patient after Query Submittal. This is a very large database and may require a few moments to search. To reinitialize all entries to "Select", click the Reset button.
  5. To hide these instructions in future sessions, check the box beneath the thin brown line at the bottom of the selection menu. You may reinstate displaying these instructions at the next session by unchecking the box. Be advised "cookies" must be enabled for this feature to be effective.
